CSS 100% Height DIV’s tutorial

I had problem creating a 100% height div. The solution to the problem is found by assigning a height value to the parent container, in this case, the body element. Writing your body stlye to include height 100% supplies the needed value.

Now when height:100%; is applied to divs (or other elements) contained withing the body, the height percentage has a containing (body) value to work with.

The following example is a three column, liquid layout with 100% height assigned to both flanking divs. Background images can be assigned to these divs and will render at 100% of the window height.

Bookmark Category in Wordpress

Hier ein paar Tipps wie man Bookmark Kategorien in Wordpress verwenden kann. Z.B. wie man eine Kategorie aus einer Link Liste ausschliesst oder wie man die ID einer Kategorie bekommt.

Mit dem befehl get_term_by kann eine Bookmark Kategorie ausgelesen werden. Im folgenden Beispiel wird die Kategorie mit dem Namen Friends ausgegeben.

In diesem Beispiel wir die Kategorie Friends aus der Link Liste ausgeschlossen. Zuerst werden die ID’s aller Links der Kategorie Friends in die Variable $ex gespeichert. Dann werden alle Links unter Angabe des exclude Parameter abgefragt.

SimPhy 2009 Project

Beim Project SimPhy 2009 handelt es sich um ein Java-Programm zum visualisieren von physikalischen und mathematischen Vorgängen. Dabei kann eine Art Spielwiese erstellt werden, die anschliessend als Java-Applet gespeichert und auf einer Homepage einbettet werden kann. Mit SimPhy können zwei- sowie dreidimensionale Vorgänge simuliert werden.

Das Programm richtet sich an Leute, die sich für das Programmieren interessieren, oder Freude an Physik und Mathematik haben. Es eignet sich gut um Messungen vorzunehmen oder physikalische Begebenheiten zu überprüfen. Lehrpersonen, die ihren Schülern physikalische Phänomene veranschaulichen wollen, kann es empfohlen werden.

Bewerbungsseite

Eine sehr einfache Webseite für den Bewerbungszweck.

Die Seite beinhaltet Lebenslauf, Arbeitszeugnise, Diplome, Referenzen und Bildergalerie. Die Dokummente sind als pdf in einem iframe eingebetet. Zusätzlich besteht die Seite aus einem Flash Banner, der Wörter in Form einer Slideshow ausgibt.

Die Seite ist leider nicht öffentlich, daher muss dieser eine Screenshot ausreichen.
